Council approves several capital allocations including $110,466 alley drainage contract

During committee reports the finance representative outlined three funding allocations passed by the capital improvements committee. He said funding allocation number 335 in the amount of $110,465.97 was awarded to Dyer Construction for the Walnut Avenue alley drainage project (4900 block of Walnut). He also reported allocation number 336 for design of air curtains at the Sportsplex to Structure Point ($11,400) and allocation number 337 for rail crossing signage and striping to DCCM engineers ($168,000).
The council recorded those allocations as passed in committee and reported them to the full council. No amendments were offered on the floor during the meeting. The clerk placed the reports on file for implementation by the appropriate departments.
