St. Mary's County commissioners to hold public forum on 2050 comprehensive plan; official urges patience

The official said last week the board accepted an economic development recommendation and made a small change based on that input, but he did not provide details about that adjustment. The remarks reiterated that final authority to adopt the plan rests with the county commissioners and that further public meetings will precede any adoption.
The county earlier characterized the session as part of an ongoing public process; no vote or binding action on the comprehensive plan was recorded in the remarks.
