At a 9:00 A.M. bid letting during the July 20, 2026 Doniphan County Commission meeting, bids were opened for replacement of a 200-foot by 24-inch plastic culvert on Randolph Road (south of 1373 Randolph Road, Section 12, Township 3, Range 21E).
Bids read aloud were Engemann Drainage Co., Inc. at $14,900 (two-week start) and Kent Kiefer Excavating at $9,000 (start immediately after utilities located). Commissioner Wayne Grable moved to accept the low bid from Kent Kiefer Excavating for $9,000; Commissioner Bobby Hall seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
