Alison Plante, board member, called the Newtown Board of Education meeting to order at 5:20 PM on July 23, 2026, in the BOE conference room at 3 Primrose Street in Newtown.
Donald Ramsey moved that the board approve a contract with Troy Systems LLC for the replacement of the Newtown High School fire alarm system in the amount of $249,824.92. The motion was seconded by Melissa Beylouni and passed unanimously. The board recorded no public participation during the meeting. Donald Ramsey then moved to adjourn; the motion, seconded by Doria Linnetz, passed unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 5:24 PM.
