The Burrillville Town Council approved the annual renewal of multiple liquor, victualing, entertainment and other municipal licenses for the period beginning Dec. 1, 2025 and ending Nov. 30, 2026. The clerk and chair reviewed required documentation — including a certificate of good standing from the state division of taxation, Department of Health certification, insurance and proof of building and fire-code compliance — and motions to renew were passed by voice vote.
The approvals covered several categories: Class B and retail liquor licenses (a long list of establishments across village centers), annual victualing (food service) licenses for local restaurants and markets, Class D full-privilege club licenses, a Class T theater license for the Assembly Theater, pool-table and entertainment licenses, firearm license renewals for specified clubs/farms, and renewals of rubbish/hauler licenses for regional firms. The chair reiterated that issuance is contingent upon applicants meeting the noted requirements; the council approved the motions after seconding.
