Flores addressed the board and thanked leaders and colleagues, saying she was grateful for the opportunity to grow and serve students. "I promise to keep working hard for you and every student in Fresno County," she told the board. The recognition included remarks from multiple trustees and an opportunity for Flores to introduce family members after the presentation.
