Mr. Hammond (speaker 13) presented the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools 2026–27 LCAP, describing it as a three‑year plan focused on transparency and equity that addresses the state’s 10 priorities and includes measurable goals, actions and expenditures. Highlights included continued PBIS implementation, parent engagement workshops, a 1:1 student device goal, incentive/study lab pilots and an aviation career‑technical expansion.
Trustees praised staff work and asked for follow‑up on graduation numbers and suspension rate trends; Mr. Hammond said preliminary data point to improving graduation rates with over 35 graduates in alternative education this year. The board moved, seconded and approved the 2026–27 LCAP by roll call.
