"It's all about" giving students an opportunity to compete and belong, a presenter said while describing 101 participating classes and 41 schools served in preschool through elementary events and growth in middle‑school unified offerings.
Presenters described benefits beyond sports: improved student confidence, schoolwide engagement and family involvement. Morgan Spine (speaker 12), who works on schools programming, said the office signed a memorandum of understanding to expand unified programs into high schools so students enter high school familiar with unified activities. Trustees thanked presenters and encouraged continued outreach to families and districts to sustain and grow the programming.
