The Selectboard reviewed two bids to replace 11 emergency exit lights and signs in the town building: Lamos Electrical quoted $4,500 and Vermont Electrical Contractors quoted $1,998. Peter Brzozowy moved to award the work to Vermont Electrical Contractors at $1,998; the motion was seconded by Joe Deller and the board approved the lower bid.
Members asked that the chosen contractor also assess other potential code violations during the work. Donna Bohannon, selectboard assistant, was asked to schedule the work with the contractor.
