"We will continue to bring forward updates as we go through the board policies and make sure that they're updated, per CSBA's recommendation of any new laws or any court cases," Superintendent Cruz said. Because this was presented as a first reading, trustees did not vote on changes at this meeting and the item will return for further consideration at a subsequent meeting.
