Assistant Superintendent Jason Vaughn explained the annual Education Protection Account (EPA) disclosure required under Proposition 30 and presented estimates for the district: $13.2 million in EPA funds for fiscal year 2025–26 and $13.2 million for 2026–27 to pay teacher positions (104 and 105 respectively).
"For fiscal year 25‑26, it's $13,200,000 as the current EPA estimate... these dollars are going to pay for teacher positions, 104 in fiscal year 25‑26 and 105 in fiscal year 26‑27," Vaughn said. Trustee (S9) moved to adopt Resolution 2026‑13; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
