Planning Commission approves agenda and minutes; tables zoning preview to July

The Nemaha County Planning Commission conducted routine business at its June 25 meeting. Eli Davidson moved to accept the agenda; Matt Smith seconded and the motion passed by roll call with all ayes from members present. Matt Smith later moved to accept the May 28, 2026 minutes; Eli Davidson seconded and that motion also passed by roll call with all ayes.
Staff reviewed Comprehensive Plan updates and Article X (Renewable Energy) but the commission made no formal changes at this meeting. The preview and editing of zoning regulations were explicitly tabled until the July 23, 2026 meeting at ESU #4 Conference Room. The meeting adjourned at 8:43 p.m. after a motion to adjourn by Smith and a second from Davidson, again passing on a roll-call vote of all ayes.
