The Advisory Committee on Disabilities (ACD) voted unanimously June 1 to allocate $3,583.25 to purchase 25 disability parking signs and posts. The spending was approved as part of the committee's financial report showing $13,086 available for the remainder of fiscal year 2026.
The vote was recorded during the financial report segment of the meeting. Committee members also approved smaller purchases at the same meeting (wristbands and mobi mats), and agreed to inspect locations proposed for the mobi mats at Dr. Lord's to determine installation needs. The next ACD meeting is scheduled for July 6, 2026, at the Dennis Center for Active Living.
