Superintendent Goodall opened the district reports by thanking maintenance and custodial staff for their summer work and describing administrative planning for the year ahead. "I just really think highly of all the people that are working for this district," Goodall said, praising custodial and maintenance staff for their efforts to prepare buildings and grounds over the summer.
Goodall introduced Leanne Donovan as the district's new principal and invited her to stand. He also announced a ribbon cutting at the community garden next week and said the district intends to place a plaque on a garden box to recognize the partnership. Goodall noted visits with regional education service staff and a community visit to a local autism services center as part of outreach and planning.
