The Warrenton-Hammond School District 30 board voted to approve a memorandum of agreement (MOA) that extends the district's collective bargaining agreement with the Warrenton Education Association through June 30, 2026. Director Bond called for the vote after the motion was made and seconded; the board recorded six yes votes, zero no votes and one abstention.
Crystal declared a conflict of interest on the item before the vote was taken, and Director Bond noted the extension was a reapproval of language the board had previously considered in July. Director Bond said, "Well, nothing should have changed," when members asked whether the agreement terms had been altered since the earlier vote. The motion passed with the abstention noted on the record.
The MOA was presented under new-business agenda item A1. The board did not record additional amendments during the discussion. Director Bond opened the item, the motion was made and seconded (mover recorded as Mark in the meeting remarks; second recorded as Adam), and the board voted to approve the extension.
