Yoncalla reports stable finances, grandstand bid out and $40,480 TAP grant awarded

At the March 19 meeting, Business Manager Kelly LaRoque told the board the district continues to maintain a stable financial position and had spent approximately 50 percent of budgeted expenses year-to-date. LaRoque introduced Angie Brownson as the incoming business manager who will begin in the next fiscal year.
Superintendent Brian Berry said the grandstand project has been sent out to bid and may require two phases. Berry also noted a successful TAP grant application: "Austin Buchert wrote a successful $40,480.00 TAP grant for long-range facility planning," which the district plans to use for planning purposes.
