City Administrator Baker described recent changes to the agenda format, saying the council moved public comments to the end of meetings because the middle portion is typically city business. He told the council that residents who wish to address a specific agenda item may submit a comment card or email in advance.
On financial reporting, Baker noted there are two packet versions — a 54-page detailed packet and a 14-page condensed report — and proposed using the shorter packet monthly while providing the fuller report quarterly. The council supported the proposal and asked the library committee to further research any proposed library-related fees before those are returned for council action.
