CFO Vanetta Van Cleef provided background on the revolving loan fund, its history and prior policy changes; she described the loan terms and the anticipated annual debt service. The department's president, Blair Sloan, answered commissioners' questions about recent audits and existing debt service, confirming a recently finalized audit and that the station expects to carry the increased monthly debt service. "This loan request, in the amount of $1,653,327... is to assist with the purchase of the Pierce Enforcer heavy duty rescue squad with a purchase price of $1,852,853," staff said during the presentation. The board approved the loan and directed the commissioner president to sign related documents.
