Chairman Bob Aguiar asked commissioners to collect letters of support for the airport hangar from community partners such as the hospital, Town of Thermopolis, Chamber of Commerce, THRIVE and the State Park. Kim Lindseth, the board's administrative assistant, prepared a document to facilitate those outreach efforts.
The board also approved signing several federal forms required to begin USDA review and staff discussed administrative requirements such as ACH payments for loan servicing. Commissioner Tom Ryan and Commissioner Paul Galovich volunteered to approach the Town of Thermopolis and Chamber of Commerce respectively, while Aguiar said he would contact the hospital and State Park. Resident Tim Lippincott spoke in support and agreed to provide a letter when asked.
