The board approved routine procedural items: Commissioner Tom Ryan moved and Commissioner Paul Galovich seconded acceptance of the minutes from Feb. 3, 2026; Commissioner Galovich moved and Commissioner Ryan seconded approval of the January 2026 Revenue and Expenditure Report. The board also approved a Facility Use request for FFA presentations scheduled for March 26, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Clerk Becky Kersten requesting the approval be conditioned on obtaining a missing applicant signature on the back page.
The board reviewed correspondence including a Department of Revenue letter about governmental entities with authority to levy a mill, the NRPC January 2026 minutes, and a Wyo‑Ben Inc. notice about the Meeteetse Draw annual meeting. Commissioner Ryan moved to adjourn, Commissioner Galovich seconded and the meeting adjourned at 3:55 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Annex, 117 N. 4th St., Thermopolis.
