Road and Bridge reports mild winter, pit work and chip-seal coordination with WYDOT

Road and Bridge Supervisor Shane Rankin told the board that mild winter weather had put many winter projects on hold but allowed crews to complete fire number checks. Rankin said his crew reduced sign maintenance due to weather, started blading some roads, and worked at the Wagon Hound Pit to stockpile material and separate clean rock.
Rankin reported filing the 2025 state pit reports and submitting state water haul permits that are valid for two years. He also said he contacted the state engineer's office to discuss coordinating a chip-seal project when WYDOT begins a road-widening project at Wedding of the Waters.
The board did not take separate action on the report; it was accepted as part of routine departmental updates.
