Board approves multiple policy revisions, adopts superintendent evaluation and holiday personnel policy

During the January 20 meeting the board took action on several board policies. On a motion by Lance Tornow and second by Tim LeDuc the board approved a revision to BP 6022 (Financial Management - Minimum Fund Balance); the motion passed 5-0. The board also approved revisions to BP 3143 (notification of information about student offenses and threats) and BP 2170 (Career and Technical Education) following first readings; both motions passed 5-0 as recorded in the minutes.
On second reading the board adopted BP 1630 (Board of Directors - Evaluation of the Superintendent) and BP 5410 (Personnel - Holidays). Each adoption was moved, seconded and passed 5-0. The minutes record the policy numbers and unanimous votes; no amendments or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
