The Chewelah City Council on May 6 approved Resolution 26-10 to establish a pilot food-truck program in the city. Mayor Pro-Tem John Kabosky introduced the item and City Administrator Tonya Wallace explained the administration plan and data collection approach; the council voted unanimously to adopt the resolution.
City Attorney Mike Waters pointed out two verbiage changes that were incorporated before the vote. The council’s motion, made by Councilmember Jon Hardy-McCauliff and seconded by Councilmember Sharon Ludwig, passed on a roll call vote with all members in favor. The resolution directs staff to implement the pilot, collect usage and vendor data, and report back to council after the pilot period.
