The council authorized an agreement with Stillwater Construction for $10,400 to repair a partition at the JMS library that water tests and roof work showed may be causing leaks. Library staff and contractors briefed the council on the leak history and the proposed repair approach.
Library staff said the roofers originally contracted for earlier work did not address the partition, and subsequent testing indicated the partition flashing and detailing are contributing to interior leaks. The project will be funded from the library’s designated fund (fund 2555) and was approved by motion with second.
