MLAC notes resignation of member, approves minutes with one abstention, and schedules offsite in Pendleton

Watson also announced that the MLAC offsite will take place at the ASSP/Oregon OSHA conference in Pendleton on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
At the start of the meeting, Sarah Merrick moved to approve the Dec. 4, 2025 minutes; Stacy Lewallen seconded. The motion passed and Margaret Weddell was recorded as abstaining. Watson reviewed upcoming MLAC meeting dates (Feb. 5 and March 5, virtual) and the schedule for legislative meetings in January and February; she noted Co-chair Patrick Priest and Kim Schlessinger will not attend the Jan. 22 session.
