Two students from Warrington High School gave a building report to the board about recent and upcoming student activities.
Junior Patty Malcomis reported on class fundraisers and a National Honor Society poinsettia sale that exceeded its $750 goal by $540. Senior Jessica Ramos Garcia highlighted a successful fisheries fundraiser (crab feed and bingo), choir and band concerts, a blood drive and a senior who signed with the University of Oregon. Students described career-exposure events including a presentation by Gearhart Fire Station staff to period-readiness classes.
The student report was delivered as part of the regular meeting and was informational; no board action resulted from the presentation.
