Selectboard agrees to include submitted reports from local groups in Town Report

On Dec. 9 the Isle La Motte Selectboard agreed that if five local groups submit reports they will be included in the annual Town Report; the request was made by the Selectboard Assistant on behalf of the Historical Society, Preservation Trust, ILMCO, the Isle La Motte Library and the Isle La Motte Fire Chief.
The Town of Isle La Motte Selectboard agreed Dec. 9 to include reports from five local town groups in the annual Town Report if those groups submit them.
The Selectboard Assistant, Donna Bohannon, asked the board on behalf of the Historical Society, Preservation Trust, Isle La Motte Community Organization (ILMCO), the Isle La Motte Library and the Isle La Motte Fire Chief whether their submissions could be included again this year. The board stated that local groups’ reports will be included in the Town Report if the groups provide them.
Board members did not record conditions or deadlines in the minutes beyond the requirement that a report be submitted. Including group reports places community organizations on record in the town’s official annual publication and is a routine clerical decision the board can act on without further policy change.
