Selectboard authorizes legal review of tentative plumber contract

Chair Peter Brzozowy reported that Karen Brunner and Andrea Carbone completed the tentative contract and said the board agreed the document should be reviewed by the town attorney because of the contract’s size. Brzozowy moved to authorize Karen to send the contract to the town attorney for review; Vice‑Chair Pat Treckman seconded and, according to the minutes, “all in favor — motion carried.”
Board members did not record a contract dollar amount in the minutes; members said only that the contract was large enough to warrant legal review. The next procedural step recorded in the minutes is that staff will forward the draft contract to the town attorney for review before the board finalizes and issues it to the contractor.
