Pat Treckman told the Selectboard on Nov. 19 that D. J's Tree Service completed agreed removals of rotted and dangerous trees in the town right‑of‑way and that the crew did a "wonderful job." Treckman said there remains budget authority this year to remove more hazardous trees and suggested a follow‑on contract with D. J's for up to $9,999.
Road Commissioner Robin Gutierrez will mark additional trees that pose a danger and contact D. J's for availability and a quote. The board verbally supported pursuing additional removals but did not formalize a new contract at the meeting. The item will be carried forward to the next Roads agenda for a contract decision.
