A student leader asked the board to help spread the word about a community Pride Parade this Saturday and invited volunteers.
"The Fort Bragg pride parade is going to start at 11:15 on June 13…We will all be meeting at Pippy's," said Ethan Zartman, who identified himself as vice president of the Fort Bragg High School Spectrum Club. He outlined the route (march to Bainbridge Park) and said the event will run through 4 p.m., encouraging attendees to bring picnic items and to volunteer for setup and cleanup.
Zartman thanked the Spectrum Club, the sponsoring group MCSSP for permitting support, and an organizer, Katie Carr. A board member asked whether the Spectrum Club coordinates with other campus groups; Zartman said some collaboration is planned going forward.
