County manager outlines road projects, historic courthouse repairs and upcoming comprehensive-plan meetings

On the historic courthouse rehabilitation, the manager and facilities staff reported structural shoring in place, roofing work beginning, and follow-up repairs to front-corner adobe and roof deck damage caused by prior leaks. Contractors are coordinating with utility providers on a pole relocation and with the county on staging; staff said they will present a change order in coming weeks once hidden structural repairs are estimated. Jaramillo also noted the county’s October public meetings on the comprehensive plan and reminded commissioners about early voting dates and an upcoming tax-auction notice.
