The Taos County Board of County Commissioners approved a transfer of a dispenser-type liquor license for Abe’s Cantina, located off Highway 150 in Arroyo Seco. Adela Duran, acting as agent for the applicants, presented the request and answered commissioners’ questions; the commission opened the item for public comment and none was made.
Commissioner Rahil moved to approve the transfer and Commissioner Brush seconded the motion; the clerk called the roll and the transfer was approved on the record. After the vote, an attendee made a brief supportive comment about Shannon, one of the incoming license holders, and the commission closed the public hearing on that item. The item will proceed to whatever administrative permitting steps remain for licensing.
