The Select Board voted to accept a donation of two cases of coffee creamer from Karen Farrington and the Northfield Community Food Collaborative for use at the senior center. The Chair thanked Farrington and the board approved the acceptance by voice vote.
During public comment a resident reported receiving positive feedback about the pergola moving project and said people “really like it.” Board members said the work is moving slowly due to weather and availability but is expected to be completed by fall.
The town clerk reported nearly 690 dogs have been licensed so far this year but that records show about 300 households may still need to register pets. The clerk reminded residents that licensing is $10 per household through Aug. 31 and that a late fee of $50 per household takes effect Sept. 1; the clerk asked residents to notify the office if ownership or an animal’s status has changed so records can be updated.
