Staff member Kim told the board that the quote “includes reclamation” and that some drainage inlets will need to be purchased separately; the Chair asked for a spreadsheet and the full quote to be posted on the town website for public review.
Board members flagged an escalation column on the contractor’s estimate that accounts for fuel and material price changes, and they debated whether driveway aprons (listed separately in other documents at roughly $13,000) were included in the $313,346 figure. The board asked staff to clarify whether aprons would be carried into the project request that will go to DOT and to provide updated inlet counts before the next meeting. The board did not vote on the Mass Broken Stone item at this meeting; staff said they will return with edited project paperwork for the next session.
