The Maupin City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2025–26 budget by Resolution 06252025-03 on June 25. Council made minor corrections during the hearing: a line in Park Resources for Miscellaneous/Dividend/Donations/Capital Credits was corrected from $31,000 to $1,000, and the city transferred an additional $10,000 into Fire Resources for PPE, radios and pagers.
Mayor Carol Beatty commended Recorder Christine Wolfe for her work preparing the budget. Councilor Shelby Dumire moved to adopt the resolution and Councilor Madeline Rhoades seconded; the motion passed unanimously 6-0. The adopted budget makes appropriations and categorizes the tax for the city for FY2025–26.
