The Eastham Finance Committee on July 23 voted to install Patty Anderson and Steve Kononjic as co-chairs and set a regular meeting schedule for the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Earl Mountain Room.
The committee first approved minutes from prior meetings. The March 26 minutes passed with one abstention; the June 25 minutes were approved unanimously. Chair opened the reorganization and said the committee had “lost our guiding light from last several years,” then nominated the two co-chairs. The committee then elected a vice chair and reconfirmed Paul as clerk. The clerk confirmation was moved, seconded and recorded as an 8–0 vote.
Members discussed the meeting date and time at length before voting to adopt the 3rd-Thursday/4 p.m. schedule, with exceptions for June and budget season. The vote to set the schedule was recorded as 8–0. The new co-chairs then took over the meeting.
