At the July 14, 2026 meeting the Daviess County Commissioners approved the following actions by unanimous vote of those present (Commissioners Nathan Gabhart and Michael Keith; Commissioner TC Cook absent): meeting minutes for 6/23/2026; a floating holiday for July 4 (and a compensatory day for courthouse closure); LPA Voucher #18 (DES #2301640) for US 50 roundabout engineering; Covered Bridge Certification; the Daviess County Allowable Costs Policy; permission to apply for the Justice Partners Addictions Response Grant; Purdue Extension copier purchase and service agreements; Baker Tilly annual disclosure; a Disaster Emergency Declaration related to recent flooding; reinstatement of the Ambulance Advisory Board; cancellation of the School Guard 911 contract (effective June 30); approval to apply as the EDA applicant for the Westgate watertower and to designate the auditor as lead representative; approval of a $24,000 Wessler engineering contract; and approval of payroll and several claims dockets.
