Board confirms training, posted notices and local confidentiality ordinance under Wisconsin statute

Board members confirmed they completed mandatory Department of Revenue and Board of Review training for 2026. As part of its compliance review the board also confirmed the existence of a local ordinance protecting confidentiality of income and expense information, referencing Wisconsin stat 70 dash 4 7 7 a f and noting that the ordinance appears in the City of Monroe code as chapter 2.2, section 5. Board members said there were no substantive new laws or procedures affecting board review this year and the attorney was not present but had previously outlined hearing procedures.
