County files EDA application for Westgate watertower; approves $24,000 Wessler contract

Jones said Wessler had been working under a temporary agreement and presented a formal contract for preliminary engineering services on the watertower for $24,000; commissioners approved the Wessler contract unanimously. Jones noted the county had previously approved a local match through the Daviess County Redevelopment Commission on June 30, 2026, and said Wessler’s work would include preliminary engineering reports and hydraulics.
