MS/HS principal reports on athletics, semester testing and student honors

Tammy Hixon, MS/HS Principal, told the board the high school opened basketball season with a home win over Woodland and noted multiple teams participated in the Oilton Tournament; the varsity girls' team won the tournament. Hixon also reported that wrestling season began Dec. 1 and that both middle and high school girls wrestling teams are active.
Hixon announced Wrestling Homecoming would be held Dec. 9 with coronation at 6:00 p.m., band coronation and winter concert on Dec. 13, and that semester testing begins at the end of the school day Dec. 17 and continues Dec. 18 and 19. She also congratulated Brooke Weaver for earning first chair trombone in the Oklahoma All-State ensemble and recognized Pawnee FFA students who placed fifth at the State Cattle Handling Competition.
