At its April 13 meeting the Viborg City Council approved routine financial and personnel actions. The council reviewed and approved detailed warrants and ACH/vendor payments, voted to refund a resident’s water deposit (motion by Ross Frederickson, second by Kevin Weier), and approved allocations to DBS, ROCS and the VDC.
The council hired Charley Nelsen as summer recreation coordinator and Jordyn Frederickson as assistant and approved offering swimming lessons in Wakonda pending confirmation of price and dates. The council also set the next regular meeting for May 7, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and adjourned at 8:26 p.m.
