Council authorizes Lincoln Avenue bidding; bids to open May 7

Pat Carey of Banner Associates briefed the council on Lincoln Avenue project updates and advised that the city will open bids on May 7. Carey also noted a DOT-related coordination meeting at the end of April and referenced a March 26 DANR meeting covering several projects.
Finance Officer Sean Gann said he will contact SECOG about re‑scoping a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) award should funds be available for the Lincoln Avenue work. The council approved starting the bidding process for Lincoln Avenue work to advance the project schedule.
