Council renews electronic-monitoring contract with Secure Court Solutions

Council approved resolution F479 to renew the city's service contract with Secure Court Solutions, the vendor that provides electronic home monitoring and alcohol-monitoring services for the court, probation and pretrial services.
The city's presenter told council the contract is a renewal and carries no direct charges until services are used; it also adds the vendor's newer drug-patch monitoring as an option. “This is a renewal. Secure [Court] Solutions... provides our electronic monitoring service,” the presenter said. After brief discussion, the council moved, seconded and approved the resolution.
