Youth group seeks partnership with Sammamish for e‑bike safety education

She said Know Your Ride has prepared student and parent guides, safety videos, and interactive education materials and asked staff to follow up on a draft proclamation for a bike/e‑bike safety awareness week.
"Our message is simple, Clear rules, safer rides," Arora said, explaining the group aims to reach families earlier in purchase and use decisions rather than after crashes or enforcement actions. She asked staff and council to consider allowing Know Your Ride to support future programming, community events and youth education in Sammamish.
Staff acknowledged receipt of the comment and said the presenter could follow up with staff to explore opportunities; no formal agenda action was requested or taken at the meeting.
