Ashley said the chamber has seen substantial online use of its directory: "1,517,073 people have used our chamber directory to find a business in Sullivan County," she told the board. She said membership growth is up (52 new members year‑to‑date), that 203 vendor spaces were sold for the upcoming Bagel Festival, and that several ribbon cuttings and business openings have occurred recently.
She previewed a new CRM and community calendar the chamber plans to launch (the chamber will migrate data and provide new logins for members), and encouraged nominations for the chamber's business awards. Ashley also said the chamber is organizing an October workforce summit with an emphasis on hiring people with disabilities and offered the chamber’s support for local food pantries.
