Council took a series of administrative actions during the May 12 meeting. Motions passed unanimously to surplus city equipment (a frontier trail mower, a chop saw and a library filing cabinet) and to approve several 2025–2026 malt-beverage license applications (Hometown Grocery; Daneville Pizza Pub and Grill; AMA Investments/Viborg Bar; Pump N Stuff; Camo Saloon LLC/Buckhorn Bar).
The council also approved applying a water-deposit refund to an outstanding account, authorized refunds of water deposits to six customers, approved the 2024 Annual Report for the City of Viborg, approved a grant agreement with Vermillion Basin Water Development District, authorized final payment for swimming lessons to the City of Wakonda/Friends of Wakonda Pool, and set the summer bus driver wage at $17.50 per hour. All these items were recorded as approved by unanimous vote in the transcript.
