Paul Christensen, Development Coordinator for the Viborg Development Corporation, said the Highway 19 reconstruction public meeting was well attended and that the state will provide an update in April. Christensen told the board the project could be delayed by another year because of funding uncertainty.
Christensen also reported he met with Issac Gerdes of Pioneer Memorial, who indicated a willingness to make a temporary street that runs along Pioneer Memorial property into a permanent street to improve traffic flow to a new development. Christensen said access from Highway 19 remains under consideration and that additional information about potential housing options will be provided at a later date.
