Time was spent Sept. 5 reviewing insurance estimates and repair options for hail damage to the Highway Department building, four 4-H barns, and the 4-H concession building.
Highway Superintendent Travis Raap, Fair Board member Kevin Blagg and 4-H Program Assistant Stacey Sieverding were present for the discussion. Because there is no estimate for the courthouse roof yet, the board agreed to wait until its Sept. 24 meeting to make final repair decisions for that structure.
The discussion focused on insurance estimates, options for repairs, and sequencing of work once estimates are available. No formal repair contract was approved at the Sept. 5 meeting.
