Planning Commission approves plat for 'Stahl Tract 1'
Summary
Convening as the Planning Commission, the board approved the plat of Stahl Tract 1 in the SE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 101N, Range 55W. A formal resolution adopting the plat was signed Oct. 8, 2024.
On Oct. 8 the McCook County Commission convened as the Planning Commission to consider a plat presented by Zoning Administrator Cori Kaufmann. After review and discussion, Commissioner Chuck Mehlbrech moved to approve the plat; Steve Gordon seconded and the motion carried.
The Planning Commission adopted the resolution: 'BE IT RESOLVED ... that the plat of "Stahl Tract 1, in the SE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 101 North, Range 55 West of the 5th P. M., McCook County, South Dakota" be and the same is hereby approved.' The resolution is dated Oct. 8, 2024, and was signed by the Planning Commission chair and the county auditor.
The county will record the plat with the Register of Deeds per standard practice.
