Human Resources staff reported progress on risk management and stated the county completed its property-casualty renewal with savings. "We're happy to report that it has been completed with an approximate savings of $80,000," Julie said.
Julie also said the county received a $5,000 safety reimbursement from PERMA for security equipment installed in a county lobby, and that PERMA released information on a safety training grant of up to $3,500 for member jurisdictions to apply for specialty training such as arborist or CPR classes.
